Infusion Port Implantation Surgery (VPA):

To ensure highly specialized treatment for cancer patients, tumor surgeries in various systems and organs will be directly referred to the corresponding specialties for surgical treatment. In addition, general surgery also performs infusion port implantation surgery (VPA) for patients who require long-term systemic anti-tumor medical treatment such as chemotherapy and targeted therapy.

Implantable venous port access (VPA), also known as central venous port access system (CVPAS), is a type of intravenous infusion device that can be implanted subcutaneously and left in the body for a long time. It mainly consists of an injection site for puncture and a venous catheter system, which can be used for infusion of various drugs, fluid replacement, nutritional support therapy, blood transfusion, blood sample collection, etc.
