Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) signed a strategic cooperation memorandum in 2022, exploring the establishment of international clinical trials, medical student learning bases, and medical colleges based on their resource advantages, training outstanding medical talents, promoting the exchange and development of medical talents in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, and landing clinical research on innovative drugs and equipment in Shenzhen.

Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) both adhere to the concept of modern hospital management, continuously optimize discipline construction, and improve clinical standards, and have signed a strategic cooperation memorandum. We hope to collaborate with the advantageous resources of both parties, committed to cultivating medical talents, improving the quality of clinical teaching, and exploring international cutting-edge clinical practices.

Following the memorandum of cooperation, both parties have carried out multiple in-depth collaborations in the fields of medicine, education, and research. Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital has officially been listed as its clinical teaching base.

Several senior physicians from our hospital have been awarded the titles of Clinical Visiting Associate Professor, Visiting Assistant Professor, and Visiting Lecturer by the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) School of Medicine. This initiative further deepens the cooperation between the two sides in the fields of healthcare, teaching, and research. The doctors hired this time are the director of the emergency department of the hospital Hiu Nam TONG Professor Guan Zhichen, Chief Expert in Urology, Dr. Sun Yunxia, Director of Children's Center, Dr. Wang Bufei, Director of General Practice, and Dr. Huang Yuzhang, Head of Otolaryngology.

As a clinical teaching base of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) School of Medicine, Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital will participate in the undergraduate teaching plan of the school's clinical medicine major, including modules in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, preventive medicine, psychiatry, etc.

Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) School of Medicine jointly organized two Future Medical Leaders Summer Camps. The various courses and activities carefully designed by both parties, including the professional experience of doctors, project-based learning mode, revolve around the concept of "patient-centered", jointly explore medical related issues, and broaden our understanding of medicine and exploration of life.

United Family Healthcare and the School of Pharmacy at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (hereinafter referred to as "CUHK School of Pharmacy") have officially signed a memorandum of cooperation, aiming to deepen academic cooperation in medicine, promote practical training in pharmacy, and further strengthen the integrated development of healthcare, education, and scientific research (medical teaching and research) in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. United Family Healthcare is the first medical institution in mainland China to sign a contract with the School of Pharmacy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, marking another breakthrough in the hospital's further expansion in the field of medical education and cooperation in "medical research and teaching".

After signing the contract, United Family Healthcare will become a training base for undergraduate students of the School of Pharmacy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, providing internship and training opportunities for the students of the school. Selected students can choose from Beijing United Family Hospital, Shanghai United Family Hospital, Guangzhou United Family Hospital, and Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital within United Family Healthcare. One institution will complete a three week internship to learn international standard pharmaceutical clinical practice.

In addition, the School of Pharmacy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong will arrange credit based internships for undergraduate pharmacy students at any pharmacy department within the United Family Healthcare Group starting from early 2026, allowing students to further enhance their clinical experience and professional skills while engaging in practical learning.
Under the trend of medical talent exchange and development, United Family Healthcare has reached a deep cooperation with the Hong Kong Medical Association, actively responding to the country's promotion of talent exchange and providing assistance in cultivating young doctors, injecting new vitality into the medical communities of the two places.

Hong Kong medical students participating in this program can go deep into Shenzhen New Feng United Family Hospital, Beijing United Family Hospital, and Shanghai United Family Hospital under the United Family Healthcare umbrella, personally experience their international operation mode, learn cutting-edge medical technology, and accumulate practical experience with experienced doctors. United Family also fully assists medical students in learning and exchanging knowledge in various specialties.
