Dr. Yu received his medical degree from Tongji Medial College at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 1982, In 1990, he received his PhD of Medicine from Tongji Medial College, HUST. Dr. Yu completed his residency in the Department of General Surgery at HUST’s Tongji Hospital in 1990, where he rotated through inpatient and outpatient wards and developed expertise in managing conditions ranging from hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases to general surgical diseases.

Dr. Lo Siu Hung graduated from The University of Hong Kong in 1996. In 2008, he obtained the qualifications of Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Surgery), Fellow of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong, and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (UK). Dr. Lo received overseas training at Singapore General Hospital in 2009. In addition to colorectal cancer, he has a special interest in complex anal fistulas, other anorectal diseases, functional bowel diseases, and peritoneal surface malignancies.
Since 2016, he has served as a Consultant Surgeon (Colorectal Surgery) at Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. In 2018, he took up the position of Head of the Colorectal Surgery Department, and in 2021, he was appointed Chief Medical Officer of Hong Kong Heal Medical Center (Hong Kong United Family Healthcare). Currently, Dr. Lo is an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 academic papers published in journals such as Diseases of the Colon & Rectum, Techniques in Coloproctology, Annals of Surgical Oncology, and Surgery. Dr. Guo has won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, the fourth "Chinese Physician Award", and enjoys special allowances from the State Council. At the same time, Dr. Guo is a Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor and a Sanqin Scholar.
